With this integration, institutions can now connect their own Chainalysis API key to Utila’s platform - bringing Chainalysis KYT data directly into their MPC wallet workflows for real-time screening, monitoring, and the governing of digital asset transfers with seamless precision.
As institutional adoption of digital assets accelerates, the need for embedded compliance readiness is more critical than ever. This integration between Utila and Chainalysis empowers institutional users to operationalize AML/KYT compliance directly within Utila, governing wallet-level activity with their Chainalysis credentials - without disrupting operational workflows.
Key Benefits and Scope of the Integration:
Seamless Onboarding: Connecting Utila to Chainalysis takes just a few steps. Institutions can easily input API credentials, configure screening scopes, and activate custom AML policies.
Granular Policy Enforcement: Institutions can define dynamic AML rules based on Chainalysis alert fields—including risk rating, service name, exposure type, direction, category, and transaction size. Transfers can be allowed, denied, or flagged for review based on these parameters.
Automated Screening: All outgoing transactions are automatically evaluated before execution. Screening results—including approval status and detailed reasoning—are displayed within the Utila dashboard and API, providing full transparency.
Secure Governance: Changes to AML policies require admin-level quorum approval, ensuring strong internal controls and compliance oversight.
End-to-End Coverage: Even after confirmation on-chain, both incoming and outgoing transfers are uploaded to Chainalysis for record-keeping and post-transfer analysis via the Transfers API.
All transaction screening results are easily accessible through Utila’s interface and API. Additionally, confirmed blockchain transfers—both incoming and outgoing - are uploaded to Chainalysis via the “Transfers” API, providing a complete compliance audit trail.
