Executive Summary
Presto’s USDC Prime and Forte vaults are now available to Utila’s institutional clients through Utila Yield. Treasury and investment teams can allocate directly through their existing Utila wallets, with deposits and withdrawals governed by their transaction policies, approvals and signing authority.
Presto also uses our MPC wallet infrastructure for its own onchain operations. The partnership connects curated credit strategies with institutional transaction governance: Presto manages the vault strategies, while Utila provides the infrastructure clients use to authorize and manage capital movements.
Bringing Yield Into Treasury Operations
An institutional treasury team allocating USDC to onchain yield needs an investment strategy that fits its mandate and an operational process that fits its controls. The team must be able to define who can authorize an allocation and how the resulting transactions are approved and signed.
Our partnership with Presto brings its curated USDC vaults into that process. Clients can access Presto USDC Prime and Presto USDC Forte through the Utila Yield product, using the wallets and transaction policies they already rely on.
The relationship also extends to Presto’s own operations. Its desks use Utila to manage onchain activity, making the firm both a vault provider for our clients and a customer of our infrastructure.
What Is Presto?
Presto is a quantitative trading and financial services firm founded in 2014. Its activities include proprietary trading, liquidity provision and asset management, supported by quantitative research and automated trading systems.
Presto brings that experience to onchain credit through two USDC vaults on Morpho, live on Ethereum since July 2026. The vaults allocate capital to lending markets selected and managed by Presto, with different collateral strategies.
Two Vaults With Distinct Strategies
Prime and Forte give institutional teams two approaches to USDC lending. The distinction is the collateral against which each vault lends.
Vault | Collateral Strategy |
Presto USDC Prime | Lends against blue-chip collateral |
Presto USDC Forte | Lends against selected real-world asset collateral, including tokenized private credit |
Presto vets collateral before the vaults lend against it. Its process includes checking oracle configurations against onchain state, participating directly in liquidations and managing supply across markets.
These activities form the credit curation behind the vaults. Institutions can assess the collateral and market exposures of each strategy against their own investment mandates before allocating.
Allocating Through Utila Yield
Our clients can access both vaults directly from their Utila console via Utila Yield. Entry and exit follow each client’s configured transaction policies and approval logic, keeping authorization within the process already used for treasury activity.
Utila governs how transactions are authorized and signed. Presto manages the credit strategy and market allocations underneath. This gives treasury teams a defined division of responsibilities when adding curated onchain lending to their operations.
The same distinction applies when evaluating risk. Wallet controls govern capital movements; the underlying collateral, lending markets and smart contracts determine the investment exposure. Withdrawal availability also depends on the vault’s liquidity and protocol mechanics.
Presto’s Own Operations on Utila
Presto has adopted our MPC wallet infrastructure as the custody and governance layer for its own onchain operations. Its teams use policy-based approvals, address controls and programmatic signing to govern activity across their wallets.
Visibility into deployed capital was also important to Presto. Our platform brings DeFi positions together in a single view for each wallet, allowing its operators to review those positions within the environment they use to manage transactions.
This makes the partnership relevant at both ends of the allocation process. Institutional clients access Presto’s vaults through Utila, and the curator uses our infrastructure to run its own onchain operations.
Governed Access to Onchain Credit
The vaults are relevant to institutional treasury and investment teams holding USDC and evaluating curated lending strategies. Prime provides exposure to lending against blue-chip collateral, while Forte adds access to lending against selected RWA collateral.
Through Utila, teams can bring these allocations into their existing transaction governance. Each institution retains responsibility for selecting a suitable strategy, while Presto manages its curation and our platform supports the operational workflow.
