Executive Summary
We are partnering with Ownera to help financial institutions access complementary infrastructure for digital asset operations and tokenized markets.
The collaboration pairs our wallet infrastructure and governance capabilities with Ownera’s FinP2P network and SuperApps Platform, with the aim of supporting clients as they expand across counterparties and networks.
Connecting Operations With Tokenized Markets
Financial institutions working with tokenized assets need to coordinate transactions across counterparties that may use different blockchains and market infrastructure. Within their own organizations, they also need to control who can authorize asset movements and how those transactions are executed.
As institutions expand their digital asset activities, connecting these requirements becomes an even more pressing priority. Access to a tokenized market needs to work alongside the wallet operations and approval processes used to manage assets day to day.
We are partnering with Ownera to help clients address these requirements through complementary infrastructure. The collaboration establishes a framework for a joint offering spanning institutional digital asset operations and tokenized asset connectivity.
What Is Ownera?
Ownera is a multi-chain orchestration company providing interoperability and applications for tokenized markets. Its FinP2P network enables financial institutions to connect with counterparties and transact across different digital asset networks and market infrastructures.
Ownera’s SuperApps Platform supports applications such as intraday repo, collateral mobility, and the distribution and trading of tokenized assets. These applications use its connectivity layer to coordinate workflows across participating institutions and their service providers.
How Our Partnership Works
The partnership brings together two complementary areas of institutional infrastructure: the controls used to manage digital assets within an organization and the connectivity used to transact with the wider market.
At Utila, we provide MPC wallet infrastructure and granular policy controls for managing digital assets. Institutions can define transaction approval requirements and use our APIs to incorporate wallet operations into their products and internal systems.
Ownera provides the interoperability and application layer. Its FinP2P network connects participants across market infrastructures, while its SuperApps Platform supports workflows involving tokenized assets.
Together, we will explore opportunities to help clients use these capabilities as part of their digital asset operations. The collaboration is intended to simplify access to complementary services while helping institutions retain control over their assets and transactions.
Ami Ben-David, Founder and CEO of Ownera, said:
“As the global digital asset market continues to grow, institutions need infrastructure that is secure and interoperable, enabling them to trade seamlessly and at scale. Through our partnership with Utila, we look forward to expanding blockchain operations from siloed pilot use cases to institutional applications.”
Who the Partnership Supports
The collaboration is designed for institutions whose digital asset activities require both internal operational controls and access to external counterparties. Relevant audiences include:
Banks and financial institutions developing tokenized asset services that require secure wallet operations alongside connectivity to other institutions and market infrastructures.
Fintechs building digital asset products that combine programmable wallet infrastructure with access to tokenized asset applications.
Corporate treasuries evaluating tokenized financial instruments and the infrastructure needed to manage holdings and authorize transactions.
Specific opportunities will depend on each client’s workflows and the networks and applications involved. The partnership provides a framework for exploring those requirements together.
Bentzi Rabi, Co-Founder and CEO of Utila, said:
“Financial institutions, fintechs and corporate treasuries need secure infrastructure to manage their digital assets and transact with counterparties across different networks. Utila provides the wallet infrastructure and governance controls to support those operations at scale. Through our partnership with Ownera, we aim to help clients access complementary connectivity and applications as they expand their digital asset activities, while retaining control over their assets and transactions.”
Plan Your Digital Asset Operations
Building an institutional digital asset service requires clear decisions about how assets are managed, who approves transactions, and which counterparties and networks the service needs to reach.
Through our collaboration with Ownera, we aim to help clients evaluate those requirements together and identify the infrastructure suited to their use cases.
